Child/Adolescent

“The kids who need the most love will ask for it in the most unloving of ways.”

I have worked with many at-risk youth, foster care children, and adolescents in the criminal justice system.  Therapy is only successful with a strong connection. I don’t want to be another authority figure telling your child what to do, but rather gain their trust in order to foster a therapeutic relationship for open communication and healing. Ask me about my availability for minor clients!

Here are some warning signs to look for in your child that might warrant professional help:

-Irritability, anger issues, lashing out
- Withdrawing from friends, family, and usual activities
-“Cries for help” on social media
-School issues (decline in academics, detentions, truancy)
-Sleep or appetite changes
-Regression in behaviors
-Bed wetting
-Talking about sadness, worries, or death
